Certified Substitute Teacher:

The job of Substitute Teacher is done for the purpose/s of maintaining the educational integrity of the classroom by supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; delivering instruction based on lesson plans provided by the host teacher or other school sources, collaborating with other teachers, administrators, and other staff members as needed; addressing classroom issues; and, if in a long-term position, developing lessons and communicating with parents or guardians.

 

This job reports to HR Coordinator and Principal.

Classified Substitute:

 

Classified substitute consist of the following jobs: 

 

Before/After Care Assistant, Custodian, Food Service or *Instructional Assistants.

 

*Instructional Assistants must have 60 credit hours (transcripts need to be provided to HR) or a substitute certificate (certificate needs to be provided to HR) or have passed the ParaPro Assessment (Passing results must be provided to HR).

 

Hiring will take place on a weekly basis.
